Die Metal Formation - Pantera - wurde 1981, ursprünglich noch unter dem Namen - Panteras Metal Magic - in Arlington, Texas (USA) gegründet. 1982 erfolgte die Umbenennung in - Pantera - (Spanisch für Panther). 2003 erfolgte die Auflösung der Band. 2022 geht es nun wieder weiter und Phil hat mit Zakk Wylde (Gitarre / Black Label Society) und Charles Lance Benante (Schlagzeug / Anthrax) die Band - Pantera - wieder vervollständigt. 2023 soll es eine Tour in den USA geben. Genauere Informationen und ob es auch Termine in Europa geben wird, ist derzeit nicht bekannt.

In 1982, the band was renamed - Pantera - (Spanish for Panther). The band disbanded in 2003. In 2022 the band continues again and Phil has completed the band - Pantera - with Zakk Wylde (guitar / Black Label Society) and Charles Lance Benante (drums / Anthrax).
